Here is a news upadate for Tellings Golden Miller and its subsidiary companies. Tellings Golden Miller has sold its depots at Fulwell, Dartford, Hounslow and Brixton to Capital Logistics who will take on the routes and buses.
London Central (Camberwell)
London Central have been successful in winning the contract for Route 197. New Streetdecks have been ordered for this win. London Central has also lost the contracts for routes 68, 468, N68, P5 and X68 to Capital Citybus from Summer 2015.
London General (Sutton)
London General have been successful in winning the contracts for Routes 412, 627, 663, 689, S1, S3 and S4. New Streetdecks and Streetlites have been ordered for these wins.
Tellings Golden Miller (Byfleet and Guildford)
We have lost routes 441 and 515 to BerksBus and SurreyBus.

Capital Logistics orders new buses

Capital Logistics is to invest £10 million in new buses, refurbishing existing buses, upgrading depot facilities, and upgrading the Horsham travel shop. Around £5 million will be spent on new buses, to upgrade the fleet, and allow the entire fleet to be wheelchair accessible.

The order will include:

14 Mercedes-Benz Citaro's for Route 4

15 Enviro 200's for Route 10, 30, 50 and 70.

10 Enviro 400's for Route 1.

This bus order will displace Volvo Olympians 3-10, Dennis Darts 11-13 and Enviro 200's 41-53 for withdrawal. 

All vehicles ordered will include free wifi, high-backed part leather seating, power sockets, audio-visual next stop announcements, and easy to see white LED destination displays. 

Several vehicles in the fleet will be completely refurbished including Citaro's 54-58 and Enviro 400's 59-60 which will be refurbished to the same spec the new vehicles will carry. Compasses 24-26 and Nimbuses 27-38 will recieve a refresh, with a repaint, new seat cushions, free wifi and audio-visual announcements which will also be fitted to the entire fleet.

Horsham depot will also be completely rebuilt, with additional capacity, and high tech engineering facilities.

Horsham travel shop will be completely refurbished, and include free wifi, comfortable seating, and a easier layout.

We look forward to introducing our new buses, which will enter service in Fenuary 2015, and the Horsham travel shop will shut on the 20th of December and will  be refurbished during the Christmas 2014 period, and reopen on the 5th of January. Horsham depot will be completely rebuilt beg inning in Janaury 2015 and running through until August 2015. We look forward to welcoming you aboard!
Capital Logistics has also purchased the Brixton, Dartford, Fulwell, and Hounslow depots of Tellings Golden Miller. Byfleet, Latimer Road, Camberwell and Guildford will remain with Tellings Golden Miller. The routes won by Tellings Golden Miller, will transfer to Capital Logistics, and all depots except Dartford will close. More info on which depot the routes will operate from soon

An introduction to Capital Logistics

Capital Logistics is a bus company based in Horsham, Sussex established in 1990. Running a large commercial network around Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire, we provide quality local bus services centered on the areas of Horsham, Chichester, Guildford and Staines. We currently have depots at Horsham (HM), Heathrow (HR) and Croydon (CD), and a outstation at Chichester (CE). All of our routes are currently deregulated commercial routes, however, between 1997 and 1999 we did operate three London routes, the 60, 726 and U3. We may bid for TfL contracts in the future however. Our fleet is mostly low floor single deckers, with some low floor and step entrance double deckers. An introduction to Thames Bus

Thamesbus is a new small local bus operator, based in Byfleet, Surrey. We will run services around North West Surrey, South West London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. The company formerly existed between 2002 and 2003, however this new company is not connected to the original company.

The company will begin operations on the 16th of March 2015, with the launch of 2 new routes network around Surrey and Berkshire. Below is some details:
Route 12 - Addlestone to Guildford, via Ottershaw, Woking and Mayford. This route will use 1 new 8.9 metre Enviro 200.

Route 442 - Windsor Castle to Heathrow Central, via Datchet, Wraysbury and Staines. This route will use 3 second-hand 10.2 metre Enviro 200's.

Route 12 and Route 442 will run Monday to Saturday every hour.

An Introduction to County Bus

County Bus is a new local bus operator around Surrey and Kent, running from a depot in Godstone. The company is run by John Newton, the former operations director and co-owner at Capital Transport Services. The company was established in October 2014 and in January 2015, will launch its first new route, the 517, between Sevenoaks and Reigate, running via the towns of Riverhead, Westerham, Oxted, Godstone, Nutfield and Redhill. The route will run every hour, Monday to Saturday using 3 new 8.9 metre Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 midibuses, which will be delivered in December 2014. A school element, the S17, will also be launched in January 2015. The route will run between Sevenoaks and East Surrey College in Redhill. The route will use 2 Dennis Trident's. We also will be launching a second new route, the 145, between Sevenoaks and Crawley. The route will be launched on the 2nd of February 2015, running via the towns of Edenbridge, Lingfield, Blindley Heath and Horley. The route will also serve Gatwick Airport. The route will run every hour, Monday to Saturday using 4 new 10.8 metre Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 midibuses, which will be delivered in January 2015. We also have won the contracts for Transport for London routes 403, 405, 407, 434 and 466. The contracts will begin on the 29th of August 2015 and use brand new hybrid vehicles. Capital Transport Services wins TSGN, ICEC, ICWC, DLR and LO rail franchises!

Capital Transport Services is happy to announce thet we have won the contract to run the Intercity East Coast, Intercity West Coast, Thameslink,Southern, Great Northern and Gatwick Express, London Overground and Docklands Light Railway. Docklands Light Railway will be a 50/50 joint venture between Capital Transport Services and Tellings Golden Miller. The rest will be run entirely by Capital Transport Service wholly. All franchises begin on the 25th of January 2015. Below is our plans for the new franchises we have won:

Thameslink, Southern, Great Northern and Gatwick Express: Our plans

New Bombardier Electrostar trains replacing the class 171, 313, 317, 319 321, 365, 442 and 455 trains.

Increased line speeds of up to 100 mph between Clapham Junction/New Cross Gate and Brighton.

25KV overhead electrification between Hurst Green and Uckfield, between Ore and Ashford International, and between in unelectrified gaps on the North Downs Line.

Capital Citybus has had a bad tender round and lost 198 buses of work at our Greenford and Hayes operations. We intend to shut the Uxbridge and Greenford depots, and move work to Hayes (HY) and our new Rickmansworth (RW) depot. The work we have lost is:

We are going to spending approximately £1 billion on rolling stock with a further £80 million on infrastructure and service improvements, such as a flyover near Woking to ease congestion in the area, and enhancing the facilities involved on our trains.

Other improvements include:

More trains per hour on SWT Suburban services

Electrification of the Exeter line

Extra semi-fast peak services

More trains running on HS1 during the busiest times

More trains in the evening on Gravesend lines during the peak Christmas shopping period

New class 386, 5-car units built by Bombardier and similar to class 376 running on SET.

Tellings Golden Miller

Fred Varney founded the Golden Miller company with the winnings from a bet made on the horse Golden Miller, which won the Cheltenham Gold Cup and the Grand National in 1934. In June 1985 Wilder sold Golden Miller to Tellings Coaches of Byfleet, a family-run concern which had been founded by Stephen Telling in 1972. In June 2005, Tellings Golden Miller had had enough and sold their operations to National Express (Travel London) then in 2009 to Abellio. 

Now, in the fictional world of buses, I have decided to reproduce TGM and run quality bus services as they did 15 years ago.

Capital Citybus and Transport Services news update

This is a news update for Capital Transport Services. Due to future wins, a restructuring process will take place on Saturday the 8th of November 2014.
Route 26 will transfer from Lea Interchange (LI) to the new Old Kent Road (SK) depot
Route 48 will transfer from Leyton (LT) to the new Old Kent Road (SK) depot
Route 56 will transfer from Leyton (LT) to Lea Interchange (LI) depot
Route 166 will transfer from South Croydon (SC) to SurreyBus' Epsom (ES) depot
Route 197 will transfer from South Croydon (SC) to the new Old Kent Road (SK) depot
