Capital Citybus has had a bad tender round and lost 198 buses of work at our Greenford and Hayes operations. We intend to shut the Uxbridge and Greenford depots, and move work to Hayes (HY) and our new Rickmansworth (RW) depot. The work we have lost is:
Route 92
Route 207
Route 282
Route 427 (withdrawn)
Route 607
Route E1
Route E3
Route E5
Route E7
Route E9
Route E10
We however have gained these routes:
Route U7 from Hayes (HY)
Route U9 from Rickmansworth (RW)
We also have retained these routes:
Route U1
Route U2
Route U3
Route U4
Route U5
Route U6 (formerly known as route 331)
Route U8 (formerly known as route A10)
Route U10
The routes currently at Uxbridge will be subject to a restructuring:
Route U1 will be moved to Hayes (HY)
Route U2 will be moved to Hayes (HY)
Route U3 will be moved to Hayes (HY)
Route U4 will be moved to Hayes (HY)
Route U5 will be moved to Hayes (HY)
Route U6 will be moved to Rickmansworth (RW)
Route U8 will be moved to Hayes (HY)
Route U10 will be moved to Hayes (HY)
The routes currently at Greenford will be subject to a restructuring:
Route 92 will be moved to Hayes (HY) until awarded to Hope Buses in September 2015
Route 282 will be moved to Rickmansworth (RW) until awarded to Hope Buses in September 2015
Route E1 will be moved to Hayes (HY) until awarded to Hope Buses in September 2015
Route E3 will be moved to Hayes (HY) until awarded to Hope Buses in September 2015
Route E5 will be moved to Hayes (HY) until awarded to Hope Buses in September 2015
Route E7 will be moved to Rickmansworth (RW) until awarded to Hope Buses in September 2015
Route E9 will be moved to Hayes (HY) until awarded to Hope Buses in September 2015
Route E10 will be moved to Hayes (HY) until awarded to Hope Buses in September 2015
These changes will take place on the 20th of December 2014.
