The Hope Group are proud to announce that we have successfully won the contract to operate the South Western and Integrated Kent franchises, currently being run by Stagecoach and Go Ahead -Keolis respectably
We are going to spending approximately £1 billion on rolling stock with a further £80 million on infrastructure and service improvements, such as a flyover near Woking to ease congestion in the area, and enhancing the facilities involved on our trains.
Other improvements include:
More trains per hour on SWT Suburban services
Electrification of the Exeter line
Extra semi-fast peak services
More trains running on HS1 during the busiest times
More trains in the evening on Gravesend lines during the peak Christmas shopping period
New class 386, 5-car units built by Bombardier and similar to class 376 running on SET.
