Capital Logistics orders new buses

Capital Logistics is to invest £10 million in new buses, refurbishing existing buses, upgrading depot facilities, and upgrading the Horsham travel shop. Around £5 million will be spent on new buses, to upgrade the fleet, and allow the entire fleet to be wheelchair accessible.

The order will include:

14 Mercedes-Benz Citaro's for Route 4

15 Enviro 200's for Route 10, 30, 50 and 70.

10 Enviro 400's for Route 1.

This bus order will displace Volvo Olympians 3-10, Dennis Darts 11-13 and Enviro 200's 41-53 for withdrawal. 

All vehicles ordered will include free wifi, high-backed part leather seating, power sockets, audio-visual next stop announcements, and easy to see white LED destination displays. 

Several vehicles in the fleet will be completely refurbished including Citaro's 54-58 and Enviro 400's 59-60 which will be refurbished to the same spec the new vehicles will carry. Compasses 24-26 and Nimbuses 27-38 will recieve a refresh, with a repaint, new seat cushions, free wifi and audio-visual announcements which will also be fitted to the entire fleet.

Horsham depot will also be completely rebuilt, with additional capacity, and high tech engineering facilities.

Horsham travel shop will be completely refurbished, and include free wifi, comfortable seating, and a easier layout.

We look forward to introducing our new buses, which will enter service in Fenuary 2015, and the Horsham travel shop will shut on the 20th of December and will  be refurbished during the Christmas 2014 period, and reopen on the 5th of January. Horsham depot will be completely rebuilt beg inning in Janaury 2015 and running through until August 2015. We look forward to welcoming you aboard!
Capital Logistics has also purchased the Brixton, Dartford, Fulwell, and Hounslow depots of Tellings Golden Miller. Byfleet, Latimer Road, Camberwell and Guildford will remain with Tellings Golden Miller. The routes won by Tellings Golden Miller, will transfer to Capital Logistics, and all depots except Dartford will close. More info on which depot the routes will operate from soon
